MOORE NAMED SAFARI CLUB 'LEGISLATOR OF YEAR'

State Rep. Tim Moore has been recognized as 2008 Legislator of the Year by the Safari Club International Flint Regional Chapter for his continued support of sportsmen and women in Michigan and outdoors issues.

"Hunting, fishing and all the outdoor recreation our state has to offer are part of the tradition of Michigan's heritage," said Moore, R-Farwell. "Supporting the industry and any opportunity to expand or enhance sporting pursuits is important to our state's economic recovery."

Moore received the award at the Safari Club Annual Fundraiser on March 14, held at the Perani Arena and Event Center in Flint.
